Thinking about purchasing the TP-Link AC1750 router, but I noticed that it is not DLNA certified.

Just what does that mean in practical terms.
I run a PC media server, connect to Roku and also an audio amplifier.
Does the router have to be certified to connect to a dlna device ?

Solution
No. It probably means that if you connect a disk to the USB, that it is not a DLNA server. It is only a standard Windows or NFS share server.
To use it as network only equipment, not DLNA certification is necessary.
