RAM upgrade for MSI 870-C45

Solution
Seeing how your board supports 16GB's of DDR3 1333MHz ram and has 4 DIMM slots, you should distribute the total ram across all slots meaning you should invest in a 4x4GB 1333MHz kit. If you're seeing prices for DDR3 1600MHz or 1866MHz being sold for the same price as 1333MHz kits then it's best you snag the highest frequency kit since you have the option to run the rams at the higher frequency(i.e at 1600MHz) and if not they will default to 1333MHz.

So, you, narrowing down a 4x4GB kit in your options is a good find/idea! :) You will need to make sure though that your motherboard's BIOS is up to date prior to dropping in your newly purchased ram kit.

Can you please pass on a budget and a link from where you'd like to...
