I recently bought a evga before gtx 960 ftw. I uninstalled my previous graphics card drivers. I put in the 960 and try to start Windows but it freezes on the logo screen. I've gone in to safe mode and my 960 comes up as vga adapter. I then try to go into safe mode with networking but it also freezes. I've already looked through all the drivers for red/yellow flags and there are none. Here are the specs please help.

Motherboard: M5a78l-m lx
Processor: Amd phenom II x4 b55
Power supply: Antec earth watts 500w

Solution
Wait, you said the system freezes with your original card also? Was that why you got the newer one? Did you do the BIOS and chipset driver update? Try re-seating the RAM and video card, make sure the CPU heatsink is on properly. Your motherboard has onboard video, does the system work with no video card added?
