Hello,

I live in student accommodation and I have to log into a website every single day to access the internet as they disconnect all devices every 24 hours. I want to be able to use my Chromecast and my current solution is to use a Travel router(TP-LINK TL-WR702N) and create a non splash screen wifi for that and also for any guests who come over.

I've gotten it to work but it's incredibly fiddly (very random if I can log into the router or not at times always end up resetting back to factory settings) and requires me to redo the process every day.

I was wondering if there's a permanent solution? I'm guessing the IP address is changing after every 24 hours.

Also i'm using a switch so I can use my PC and router at the same time. Thought i'd mention that in case that was useful.

Any help is appreciated, i'm not great with network stuff.

Solution
The fix would be to contact whoever setup the internet access and work with them to get access without the logon page. It was setup that way for a reason, probably to keep the internet connection from being abused and to control who can get online.
