Hi, i have a pc setup using AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core and a MSI-970 gaming motherboard. My pump (water cooler) broke some weeks ago and it was replaced by a new one. Before a realized the pump problems, the cpu reached 90ºc several times (reading temperatures on BIOS) before shutting down afterwards. After having replaced the pump, my cpu shows low loadings of around 1.9 GHZ at the most and also low temperatures (17ºc). The motherboard and cpu do not allow higher performances even after having updated its drivers. Do i have a broken cpu already or should i replace the motherboard? or both!?
