Always been a reader of this forum but never actually made an account to speak myself, seems my time is due for PC problems though.
I use Windows 10 and using the AMD R9 290X graphic card, only game I have been playing lately is World of Warcraft (Dont judge me haha).
Up until last night I've had no problems at all, always using more a less the latest driver... Yesterday I know I wasnt using the latest though because my AMD software had been telling me for almost a week that new updates were available but everything was fine so I ignored it.
However whilst playing WoW yesterday after about 2 minutes, the game froze and I had to ctrl alt del to end the process was then given the message "Application blocked from accessing graphics hardware". Tried playing again and then the same happened so I completely removed all AMD software and drivers, updated to the latest one (I was only one version behind) and then the game seemed fine for the remainder of last night.
Came home from work today though, playing as normal about 10 minutes later the game totally locked up, hard locked my entire system.... or was it the game?
After hard lock, looking through event lock trying to pretend I knew what I was looking for.. couldnt find anything regarding WoW.exe but I did see something related to AMD Settings.
Moved on, tried the game again and what dya know it seems ok but then it crashed, telling me something 'AMD Host has stopped responding', although this didnt actually crash the game and I could continue playing.......
Anyone please suggest anything? I have a feeling its the AMD software causing problems but I know someone here will know more than me with this kind of thing.
Will really appreciate any help
