I just built a new system.

Asus Z97 - A / USB 3.1
Intel i5 - 4570
GTX 780

I'm using Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB 1866MHz ram in dual mode. I used to plug them as shown in MoBo manual recommended dual channel mode in dimm slots A2 and B2 but it both cases I get only 1333Mhz instead of 1866.

I also changed frequency from auto to manual 1866 but it still runs at 1333

any solution?

Solution
AS mentioned - enable XMP (profile 1), save exit and reboot, then in Win get the free app CPU-Z and look in the memory tab - should show 933 which equates to 1866 as this is DDR (DOUBLE data rate) - the BIOS is showing the default of 1333 - not what you are running at. You should be fine

well, that makes sense thou... thnaks.
and.... what if I install 2 more ddr3 sticks with same frequency, would it be 466mhz then and is it better to have 4x4gb or 2x8gb ram?
