I want to upgrade my GPU but i dont know what GPU will work for my pc i also can only use a 1 slot GPU and can spend about 500$

That board and CPU are too old to take advantage of a faster GPU. It sounds like you have other restrictions too, so it's definitely time for an overhaul.

Nope - building new would be the most cost-effective option. I'm not even sure you want to use the same case - why can't you have a GPU that takes up 2 slots?

OK the good thing for you is those games don't require much power, even Overwatch. However your system even with a good GPU can't handle higher graphics. It will bottleneck quite a bit.

In terms of single slot the best thing you can get is the aforementioned 650ti if you can still find one, probably get it used for like 50 bucks. Otherwise if you want to spend any more than that I would suggest again, a full rebuild.
