Could somebody look at this build and confirm compatibility?

Hey everyone,

Could somebody look over the following build and confirm that I've got good synergy?

Build Description:

  • This is for a hi-end graphic designer who mainly works in Photoshop. The build's intention is to maximize the speed of Photoshop to the point where he can work on very large files using custom brushes and experiencing minimal lag.
This will be a 4k, 10-bit display workstation with a Cintiq 22hd as a second monitor. The LG listed below will be used to confirm 10-bit quality (gradients wont be banding). From what XRite has told me, the monitor calibration tool listed can be used on either the Cintiq or the LG Monitor.

Main Concerns:

  • 1. That the motherboard won't be able to take full advantage of PCI-E SSD Drives. Namely, that I won't be able to efficiently use the 512 GB one as the boot drive.
    2. The large motherboard structures on either side of the PCI-E 3.0 slots won't allow the Video Card to fit.
    3. Is this a good liquid Coolant system for this CPU / Tower? I'm new to liquid coolant systems.

Build:

Solution
You will need a BIOS update with that CPU I think, but thats easy enough. I'd recommend updating BIOS on a new board anyway. Good luck! And the 115i would keep a nuclear reactor cool :)

Ah, awesome site! I'm definitely down for more cooling. How about the Corsair Hydro Series H115i? It checks out on Part Picker.

A little concerned about part pickers Bios warning:
Some Intel X99 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Broadwell-E CPUs.

It reminds me that I read the following in the reviews for this motherboard:
...if your board's serial number begins with 155 it means it was made in 2015 and therefore likely has the older F2 version bios whereas version F22 that came our in January does support it.
