Hello

Recently i bought ASUS Nvidia GT 740 2GB GddR5 and my current proccessor is Intel Pentium e5700 3.0Ghz, i want to know if my CPU is bottlenecking my GPU and also i want to ask if i upgrade my CPU to AMD FX-6300 six-core with ASUS Nvidia GT 740 2GB GddR5 will my GPU bottleneck the AMD FX-6300 six-core?

Iam currently playing some games and even in some games if i change the resolution to 720p i got the same FPS i had when i was playing with 1080p.

One more thing, as i said i got ASUS Nvidia GT 740 2GB GddR5 which cpu is more suited? I want like 1080p 60fps even on low or atleast 720p 60fps on high-ultra or medium.

Thanks in advance.

This is in USD but 214€ = $240 and this is only $210. I know you said you wanted a quad core but those FX's cores are so weak to begin with that a modern dual core Intel will easily outperform them, and by a large margin. You can check out some benchmarks if you don't believe me but the i3 6100 is a far better and newer CPU than the FX. Newer...

I think you are thinking about it backwards. Your GPU is not bottlenecking your CPU, it's the other way around. From what you're describing it sounds like the Pentium is bottlenecking the GT 740, but the best way to tell would be to download MSI Afterburner and enable On Screen Display and take a look a your CPU and GPU usage while you're gaming. If your CPU is pegged at 100% (or near it) and the GPU is under 90% then it is likely bottlenecking.
An FX-6300 will not bottleneck a GT 740 at all, but is not the best choice of CPU either.

I've already did that with RTTS .. both of the 2 cores of my CPU is 100% and some times my gpu is 20-40% and in some games is 80-94-98% . FX-6300 wont bottleneck GT 740 but can GT 740 bottleneck FX-6300? Also what CPU do you suggest? I prefer low budget and a 4 core CPU thats why i go for FX-6300.

It doesn't work like that. The GPU doesn't "bottleneck" the CPU. Another way to think about it is that your GPU should always be at 100% load and the CPU should always be less than that, so you could say that the GPU is ALWAYS bottlenecking the CPU, hence why people don't really say that. The difference is that when the GPU is being bottlenecked, it is reflected by low fps in the game because it is not performing fully. When the CPU is "bottlenecked", it doesn't matter. It doesn't affect the game at all because the GPU is still rendering frames at maximum capacity. Even if the CPU was at 100% load, the game would not be performing any better.

Long story short...don't worry about it. What is your budget for CPU and motherboard? I can probably recommend something for you that is better than the FX.

So my CPU suck ass :p ... Nevermind .. Well
i want to go for this motherboard : https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/970-GAMING.html#hero-overview @ 110€
and this CPU : http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Bulldozer/AMD-FX-Series%20FX-6300.html @ 104€
So if you have to suggest something within those 214€ for both CPU and Mother please tell me.

Newer socket (support for future i3's, i5's, i7's..etc), DDR4 support, draws much less energy, runs cooler...

I guess those DDR4 is good enough? http://www.e-gate.gr/kingston-hyperx-fury-8gb-2x4gb-2133mhz-ddr4-hx421c14fbk2-8.html
