Hey guys, I'm just looking for some informed opinions here to help me decide which GPU to get.

The superclocked 980 ti from EVGA is now available around 400 euro's, while one pays around 150 euro's more for the 1070 from asus. I would assume from comparing benchmark-data available online, that the performance for these cards is at this time comparable and depends on what game and settings one plays. Now my question is:

Will the presumed better DX12 compatibility and extra 2 GB of ram be worth the extra 150 euro's in time?

I should note that for now I plan to continue 1080p single screen gaming until I find some new money to spend on this already expensive hobby

Thanks in advance!

150 more for a 1070? not worth it, just go with the 980 Ti. its a great card and can out perform the 1070 in current titles when overclocked a bit but the 1070 is only getting better with drivers later
