EK does not have a waterblock yet for this custom PCB, and I'm sort of doubting they ever will.

I see that Zotac has a waterblock version of this card... but can't find any information on whether or not they would sell this block separately to upgrade an extreme AMP! Extreme.

Anyone know of any companies that have or plan to have a block that fits this card?

You're better off waiting for the ArcticStorm version than trying to upgrade this version, a BIG part of what you pay for in the AMP! Extreme is the massive heatsinks and the three fans. In my experience this fans cools just fine on air.

If you're really that worried about it, wait for the ArcticStorm, or get a different card. You'd be throwing your money away trying to modify the AMP! Extreme

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I am not at all dissatisfied with the coolers performance. I was more thinking if I decided to do a full custom loop at some point what my options would be.

I have settled on just doing an AIO for my CPU and leaving it as is for the GPU. In a few years when I do a rebuild I will buy a card that can handle an EK block.

Cheers,

Yeah I have an AIO Corsair Hydro 115i on my Skylake and it is pretty overkill if you ask me. My CPU doesn't get above 30C. It might be nice to have a similar setup on my GPU but that doesn't creep over 55C anyways. As long as you have a LOT of airflow you should always have enough cooling.

Alphacool released there M02 version yesterday, http://www.alphacool.com/shop/-new-products-/21458/alph... I have been using one of these on my R9 280X for a couple of years overclocked as far as the card can go and only notice a 2 degree difference at any given time over my other 280X with an EK block.
