Here's my set up:
Processor- AMD Phenom IIx4 965
Mobo- Asus M5A99FX Pro R2.0 AM3+ 990FX
Power supply- EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G1 80+ Gold 1000w 120-G1-1000-VR
Memory- 8GB crucial cheapo RAM
HD- Crucial MX200 250GB SATA 2.5 SSD
Graphics- Gigabyte R7 370 256bit GDDR5
Case- Thermaltake Chaser MK-1 ATX
Cooling- Coolermaster Hyper 212EVO
Windows 10 Pro
I want to try two graphics cards, my card and Mobo are crossfire ready, but I'm not even really sure of the advantages for gaming and i don't know if i need to upgrade my processor or RAM. If so whats the top end of what would be compatible with everything else. Thanks in advance.

Solution
To be honest if you are thinking of crossfire of two 370 cards lastgnslingr.

An Amd Phenom II x4 965 cpu is going to impact on the performance of the two cards when cross fired together.

Even a AMD FX 8350 will cause a bottle neck in the setup, but the current 965 cpu will be worse.

Your at a really sticky point when it comes to upgrading the cpu because if you buy, or bought for example a FX 8350 cpu since the motherboard can and will run the cpu without any problems at all.

The new Amd line of Zen cpu`s are out in a few more months.

I would save my money up and forget about crossfire.

Get a Zen cpu, and motherboard, and a better single graphics card solution with more powerful, or a better GPU.
