Hi all! I'm building a new rig with some parts from an older one and I just want to make sure my carry over ram will work ok. So I went to frys yesterday and got a new amd micro atx mobo and a new amd cpu. The mobo is an msi 760GMA-P34 FX and the cpu is an FX 4350 black edition. I made sure while I was at frys that the mobo could use my 16GB ddr3 1333mhz ram kit that I was going to carry over. The box said it could. But when I got home I compared my old Intel cpu with the new amd one on cpuboss.com and in the little tic boxes in the memory controller section it only showed my new amd cpu to be compatible with ddr3 1866 ram... So the big question from me before I open the cpu is will my old ram really work? Please, if anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it! :) Thanks in advance for your time.
