I have been having an issue for a few months now concerning a Toshiba laptop frequently losing its connection to my network. This issue only persists when I have my self built gaming rig on the network at the same time as the laptop. With any of my other devices such as cellphones and tablets the laptop can hold connection but the second I turn on the gaming rig it will begin dropping the connection. Both computers are connected over a wireless connection neither are wired due to the position of the router in our home. I am also never doing anything that should be network demanding during these drops and this shows as the internet is never slow before the connection drops. Any suggestions on how to fix this are greatly appreciated.

Very odd. I'd think you're either looking at a bad adapter or more likely a bad Wi-Fi AP/router. First thing I'd try is buying a dedicated Wi-Fi AP

I have tested for this in the past and I'm sure it doesn't impact any of the other devices in the house. My smartphone stays on the network just fine as well as my other laptop. I have also run it with some of my other gaming devices while playing online games and it has absolutely no affect on this either.
