How to recover bookmarks from a user account?

I deleted a user account on my Macbook Air to clear up space, but in doing so, I accidentally deleted my bookmarks which were filled to the brim with important links. Both on that user account for my physical computer and this current user account, I was logged in to the same Google Account.

Is there a way I could recover my old bookmarks because they are connected to the same Google Account?

As it's a MacBook, maybe your local Apple store or qualified Apple center could help.

If you saved the user folder when you deleted the user account, you should be able to recover the account.

If not, and you weren't syncing the google account via Chrome or through Googles Bookmarks (chances are you'd know if you did), then I think you may be out of luck.

Thanks, but no dice it seems. I deleted that home folder because I had no idea what it was...and I remember distinctly hesitating at deleting it because it didn't know what it was.

Sounds like you need to get in to the habit of creating & maintaining backups of user data.
