I have a amd r5 m335 4gb gpu in my laptop, but when I load up games it reverts to using my Intel HD 520, and doesn't use my Radeon at all. I know I could change setting in BIOS, but is there anything else I could try?

In the BIOS there should be an option to choose which graphics to use, and allow you to disable the onboard GPU.
However some laptops that have dual graphics use the integrated graphics for light loads and automatically switch to the dedicated graphics for more intense tasks - that's what my old HP did.
