So Im fairly proficient in computers and am pulling my hair out trying to find a solution to this problem.
Let me clarify this is NOT "How to install on secondary drive"
My situation is that I have a 256 GB primary SSD (Samsung 950)
With a 1TB secondary drive. whenever i attempt to install a Game from steam battle.net uplay etc it causes the computer to lockup entirely. and it can only be fixed by restoring to a previous date.
But I can store and save files to the drive but not install.
This is an Alienware R15 which came in RAID mode but had problems running the SSD I installed. So I reset everything to run in AHCI and proceeded to install windows. No problems on the SSD side. but pretty much my secondary drive is like a humongous flash drive.
I have tried to repair the drive no problems.
In RAID I had no issues running the SSD and HDD simultaneously. UEFI is ON. (least im pretty sure)
ill link Dxdiag if asked. (need a good way to share it. Copy paste is kinda alot)
