Dual channel RAM

Hello,

I am building a PC and I ordered Kingston HyperX Fury 2x8GB 2400 MHz kit but the store doesn't have it in stock.
I want to know if I get 2 individual sticks of the same model, would there be a chance for them not to work in dual channel?

You just lose dual channel mode. Not a big deal if you are not on integrated graphics, but, seeing as you are buying something new, even as a matter of principle you shoudl get the right stuff. Just get whatever kit they have. Frequency and brand don;t matter.

They may not work at all together, if they do and installed in proper slots then yes dual should be OK. Biggie is if they will even play together and there are no guarantees. See items 2 and 6 here in my article:
