Hello!
So i was looking to get a laptop, to be used for school work and gaming (Nothing extreme, games like Counter Strike and the other casual steam games ) And i came along the Dell Inspiron 7559, And for the price i think this laptop is perfect, i just have a couple questions left to be answered.

1. Would it be worth upgrading to the I7 model for the future?
2. How loud do the fans get and would they get loud when doing things like school work?
3. How About Battery Life? Is it good?
4. And last of all, what is your opinion on this laptop, is it really worth the money?

Any Answer is a helpful !

I have one, it is fabulous.

Fans are almost always super quiet for browsing/text etc. that would be school stuff. When gaming they are audible but not really loud.

Battery life is good, about 5-6 hours of light load stuff.

I have the i7 version, I wasn't even aware they offered other CPU's.

As a peice of advice, talk to a sales rep. to get a significant discount. I saved about %10 off by complaining about the OS. I have installed win7 on mine. It is one of the few modern laptops that have drivers for win7. Even if you are happy with the OS, just say that you are going to change it and want a discount as you are having to spend money to change it.

Also, a value add is you get access to the whole insides with 1 screw on the bottom...

Grab yourself one, I don't think you will regret it.
