Can someone tell me if my system bottle-necking my GPU, because i recently bought a new GPU and the performance doesn't seem like it should be.

CPU: Intel i5-4440 3.1GHz
MOBO: MSI H81M-E33
RAM: 12GB DDR3 1600MHz
PSU: 500W (This is the only information I got without opening my PC case.)
GPU: Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Mini

Solution
OK, those games are CPU intensive titles. Without more information (ie. monitoring software results) it is not easy to say that it is a CPU bottleneck, but it might bottleneck your system a little. Try to get MSI Aftrerburner installed and check your performance (CPU/GPU utilization) as well as FPS.

Overclocking your CPU/GPU will not cause your system to overheat provided you take good steps to monitor your temps and overclock. Good airflow is also important.

I mostly play GTA V (Online & SP) AC Unity, Far Cry Primal.

I have only 1 fan in my GPU. Is it ok to overclock because I dont want my GPU to overheat
