I'm trying to install Windows 7 on my new PC, I've got the ISO for it and put it into a bootable USB disk but when I try to install Windows 7, it says "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing" I have tried:
-Changing to different USB ports
-Reinstalling the ISO file to the USB

I hope I can install Windows before tomorrow, any solutions will be appreciated!

Reply ASAP, Thanks!

*EDIT* I do not have an optical drive to use, that is why I am using a USB disk/USB Flash Drive.

Solution

I just happened to be looking at this earlier and then saw your post so not sure if this will help but it might Windows makes a install tool for windows ISO. - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/windows-usb-dvd-download-tool
from another working pc download intel or amd chipset drivers and expand them. move the inf to the usb stick. when the windows 7 installer starts go to advance mode and add windows inf drivers for the intel or amd chipset drivers. if you want you can skip windows 7 and download windows 10 iso and use your windows 7 key to turn it on.

Windows 7 is so hard to install, but it has a good reward afterwards.
I do not have time so I'm gonna just download a Windows 10 ISO and install that for the time being.

Thanks for your help!
