i was wondering if it's even worth the money to upgrade from my i7 4820k 3.7hz and if it's not worth it how long do you think till i will have to upgrade from it?.

yeh your i7 is fine I would save and wait for octa to be main stream with i7 and then swap over.

im going to do gaming with a 1070 thats all beside you know the basic watching youtube and such
