Hello, this is my first thread online and I have created a PC configuration. I just want to know whether it will be able to play latest games or not.
CPU: i5 6600K
MOBO: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming
RAM: G.Skill RipjawsV DDR4 8Gb
PSU: Corsair CX 600W
GPU: Asus Strix GTX960 2GD5
HDD: WD Blue 1TB
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250Gb
Cabinet: Corsair Carbide Series 200R ATX
Cooler: CM Hyper 212X

Please put forward your views to the above said configuration. I'm open to suggestions if any :)

The corsair vs 550 isnt a good PSU by any means. I bought it and regret the decision.
I suggest getting a PSU from evga or seasonic

You're a little too heavy on CPU and too light on GPU. The GTX 960 is now outdated and would be a major bottleneck - RX 470, RX 480, and GTX 1060 are the best budget gamer cards. If you have to trade down to an i5 6500, do it. Also Corsair CX series is not recommended - Seasonic SII12 520W would be better for this build.

Sorry scuzzycard I didn't mean to downvote. I don't know how to reply on this thing. Anyways you're right I'm too heavy on CPU so gonna have to change processor to i5 6400 and will change Psu as well as Mobo. Gpu I think 480 is good. What do u say?
Yes sizzling will create a non-oc rig now

Yeah the rx 480 will be perfect for this build(Cause you wont OC) make sure you get those AIB models(like ones from sapphire, MSI, Powercolor), get the i5 6400 and change the PSU. that would turn out a lot better than the build you just posted

GPU good, PSU less good, 4690K not compatible, 212X only needed if K series

Since you are getting a rx 470, get a freesync monitor. Those are much better than normal 60hz monitors

Both of these options are great, but the acer one is better imo
