Which is the better low cost SSD?

I need a low cost ($40) SSD to complete a budget re-build. Which of these two SSDs is the better choice? Any other suggestion appreciated, as long as it is no more expensive and no smaller in capacity. Thank you.

I have a 120 TRION in my older son's build as a boot drive , I like it , seem to be decent , never dealt with a Sandisk.

Both have the same MFG warranty period of 3 years.

I would pick the SanDisk based off my experience of only seeing OCZ SSDs die.

We have Z400's (older version of that Sandisk) in our work laptops. They've been very reliable thus far with hundreds of them being deployed.

I just buried a San Disk. But in all fairness, it was their ReadyCache drive, not a true SSD.

Sorry to hear that!

My experience has been good with their SSDs. I have installed them in budget and older systems.

To be fair, the OCZ drives that I saw die were from 2010-2012 timeframe. I have no doubt the quality of their drives has improved.

Whichever you decide on I am sure you will enjoy the benefits a SSD brings to any system.

The 150 is supposed to be quite a bit more reliable than the older Trion 100 drives.

My brother has one, but it has only been a few months. He's pretty happy with the speed of it, though.
