So basically a few days ago my gpu (msi gtx 980) fans started to spin at about 50% when starting my pc and they don't slow down when casually using my pc. Once i start playing games the fan's go up and once i stop they slow down but they don't drop under 50%. Another thing i noticed is that no fan controlling program can read my fan speed anymore. I used to be able to read my fanspeed on afterburner and controll it but now i can't see/do anything. Sometimes my pc start with low fan speed but when i play a game and let it cool down when im done it is still spinning at about 50%. And one more thing i noticed is that is sometimes shows me the fanspeed when playing a game but it will disappear when not gaming. Anyone got an idea?
