What's the difference between CPU temp and CPU Package Temp?

For what it's worth, temperature readings from anything other than AMD Overdrive are usually nonsense for FM2+ chips. A core temp of ~54 fahrenheit, even at idle, seems pretty unlikely to me unless you keep your computer in a freezer.
