Faulty graphics card or motherboard?

Hey guys I'm wondering whether my GPU is dead or my motherboard, I highly doubt it's my gpu because I just RMA'd it and tried another graphics card and have the same issue. My issue is every time I start the computer I get the "no signal" on the monitor, this is fixed by unplugging the gpu but I have tried 2 different gpus and I've had the same issue. Do you think it's a faulty PCI slot that's causing the issue? If so should I replace the motherboard?

Could be the PSU more than anything, had the same issue and it was the PSU killing my cards, what make and model is it? Do you have another PCI-E slot on that motherboard to try it in?

Go into the BIOS and make sure it is using the GPU and not the integrated graphics, if you are not sure put the display output into the motherboard and see if you can see anything, if that doesn't work try clearing CMOS.

I have a rose will photon 650 80 plus gold and I don't think its the PSU because the fan comes on and is working on start up. Sadly I don't have another PCI slot to try it out but I will check the bios and see if that does anything. I think it is the motherboard though because the graphic card is getting sufficient power

Doesn't matter if could power the system but as soon as the GPU pulls power the weak PSU can't handle it and shuts down. You can't rule out the PSU until you have tried a known working one. If you can't see damage around the PCI-E slot on the motherboard my bet is the PSU then GPU then Motherboard.

Thanks for the help dude I really appreciate it, I'm going to test out my PSU on a different computer and see if that is the issue and if not I guess it's the motherboard because I already RMA'd the GPU.

I wouldn't test the PSU on another computer, if it is failing you don't want it damaging it.
