How do I get the wire through the door nicely without drilling a hole and not obstructing the door? Currently I cannot open it all the way.

What kind of tape should I use to keep it on the wall?

Solution
You could just use regular 3M Scotch tape to secure it to the wall.

I've tried that before but the only models available where I live are small ones (not good for what I intend to use).

Will regular scotch tape not cause some sort of interference?
