Going to upgrade my prebuilt gaming PC and don't really know where to apply the said upgrades. It hasn't aged too well, which i really notice in newer titles.

I love playing games, my favorites right now are: Guild Wars 2, gtaV, Battlefield 4 (soon 1) & good old Skyrim (modded ofcourse)

These are my current specs;
Cooler Master Haf X 912

Cooler Master B500, 500W PSU

AMD FX-6300 6-Core Processor

Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P, Socket-AM3+

Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 1600MHz 8GB (2x4GB)

XFX Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5

Seagate Barracuda® 1TB

Samsung DVD Writer, SH-224DB

I have a monitor and kb+m so don't need to worry about that

Any help would be very much appreciated! I hope you have a Great weekend

Unfortunately i live in Sweden and 1k$ wont go too long of a way when it comes to components but maybe im just looking in the wrong places

Psu, motherboard, cpu, ram, gpu. Gotta go. There's no real worthwhile upgrade for fx Cpus, best option on a budget would be a decent B150 mobo and a i3-6100. You'll need ddr4 ram. Modern games as you have seen really punish the 270x, so a gtx1060 or rx480 would be the better option. I'd also recommend splurging on a good psu, 520w to 620w would be good, depending what's on sale
