Best graphics card for my situation?

GTX 960 is overpriced yesterday's news. Don't get one. In your price range the best options are GTX 1060 6GB and RX 480. Look at your preferred games and see which does better.

For that money you could get a GTX 1060 6GB which is a very good card as well as a RX 480 8GB. You could also save a little money and get a GTX 970 or R9 390 as they are very good cards for the money, at 1080p these cards would serve you well without spending crazy amounts of money. Yeah the GTX960? I wouldn't go near it as you can get far better performance for around the same money.

Great from an Electrical Engineering view point. There's also input from software programmers. Going forward software/firmware for the 1060 is inferior to the RX480 which excels in the new DX12 api, Most powerful and interesting features or dx12 are still coming over the next year+.

How's the G1 Gaming? Is it better than the others in the same line? Would you reccomend it over the one you sent? How about the Windforce OC?

the 1060 and 480 are within 3% of each other in dx12

they are all great, you are paying for them to overclock it for you on the oc cards
