I have a Windows XP service pack 2 machine. I bought a seagate 1 TB ext. harddrive. It shows up under Device manager but not under My computer. It shows Driver not installed.
Please help me with the issue to resolve the same.

Solution
In Disk Management, right click on it and it wll offer you the choose a drive letter and a name for the Volume. Once that's done, it will show in Windows Explorer.

I'm not sure a XP SP2 system can recognise such a large capacity disk. You may need to install SP3 thirteen years after I did. :D I don't think it will need a specific driver in any event.
