Hi
My PC configuration is :
Intel i3 - i530 @2.93Ghz
Memory: DDR3 2Gb hynix 1333Mhz
Windows 7 ultimate 64bit O.S

I have upgraded my memory to Corsair Vengeance 8Gb DDR3 (1x8Gb, 1.5V) 1600Mhz.
The problem is that windows does not starts. The "Starting windows" page appears and it restarts again. By pressing F2, the memory is shown as 8152MB in BIOS (system setup) main menu.

Please help .

Solution
1156 mobos typically only can use 4GB sticks, and generally require older DDR3 sticks that are made with low density memory chips from pre-2011. Might look for the still available GSkill NT series of value DRAM, available at NewEgg which are made with the low density chips
