This is my first time building my own PC. This is what I'm proposing:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212X 82.9 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Kingston Savage 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2800 Memory
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: GALAX GeForce GTX 1070 8GB EX OC Video Card
Case: Deepcool DUKASE V2 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: SeaSonic S12II 620W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit

I plan to use it on mainly on gaming.
Does the power supply suffice or is it too much?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

The motherboard is a bit expensive, unless you're looking for a feature it has that you won't find on an $80-90 Z170 board. You might also be able to do better than the 212X, though it's still a fine cooler.

Your CPU has a 91w TDP and your video card, 150w. The rest of your system will unlikely add up to more than 20-30w, so you could really get away with a 350w PSU from a good brand with this build. 620w is way more than enough.

Overall looks solid.

I want to play at least on 1080p flawlessly. Budget is not a problem. I just don't want anything too expensive.

What CPU cooler would you recommend? I would also like to overclock my cpu, though I'm only a beginner. I live in a tropical country though its hot in the day I would turn on the A/C when I'm using it.

Cryorig is hard to get. If it is available where OP lives Cryorig H7 is recommended it will be great choice.
