Hey! I recently bought 8GB Crucial 1600mhz 8GB RAM. I replaced 4GB zeppelin 1600mhz which was OC'd to 1600mhz. The new ones are running only at 1333mhz and I don't know how to put it on 1600 as it has same settings like the old ones which were running 1600. SO is it even safe if i have old P55-US3L MB and Intel I5 750 @ OC 3.20ghz running to put RAM on 1600mhz if it set itself to 1333? thanks for answer.

Solution
Support for DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules

If it can run 2200 ,it should be able to run 1600 , go into the BIOS under DRAM settings and see if you can select XMP profile 1.

Thanks! I've set RAM XMP Profile 1 and so far so good! RAMMon, Speccy, Taskmanager all these reports 1600mhz now. I will give it some testing if it's stable but i think i'm good to go.

EDIT: My temperature on CPU went from 34 to 57. Why? And CPU frequency is not jumping from 1000mhz to 3400mhz and stays at 2500.
