I've been using the Asus ROG Strix GTX 1080 GPU and I noticed that its aura RGB light has recently been misbehaving. I set the aura RBG light of the card in the RGB software to display GPU temperature (the light would go from green up to orange showing the temp of the card). However, I noticed that every time I start up the PC, the GPU light would be in the "heartbeat" mode and the color would be in orange. It would go back to display temp color when the PC is booted to desktop. But sometimes after exiting a game the color would go back to the heartbeat mode with orange color. Orange color actually means that the GPU temp is at or above 80c. But in reality my card never went above 70c. So I don't know if there is a bug with my GPU's aura RGB light system...Has anyone else encountered this?

Thanks

Thanks. But I downloaded the latest version of the software, and still, every time after I booted up the PC, the GPU assumes its default lighting, and I need to manually activate the desire lighting in the software for it to go bakc.

haha thanks, good to know.
I just gave up using the gpu temp and set the color to static. Now it stays like that every time. Don't know what's up the GPU temperature lighting and why it resets
