■ I cannot for the life of me get my USB to boot on start up.. My pc knows it's there and knows the contents because when I enter flash mode.. I canook through it.. I don't have an OS and I'm trying to get windows installed but it keeps going to bios.. I've been trying for hours (disabling secure mode, msi boot, etc.) and I just can't get it.. Any help?

Solution
Check in the BIOS that the setting for USB Legacy Support is set to Enabled. Without that, the system doesn't give the USB ports any power until the operating system cuts in. While you're in there, make sure the USB is top of the boot sequence list.

With it, the flash drive should be recognised.
