I've been looking to buy a gtx 1060 or maybe an rx 470. but i'm not sure if my cpu is good enough.
I have an i5-2400 3.10ghz.

I need a new gpu because right now i'm using a 660 ti that i borrowed from a friend since my own gpu died on me a couple of months ago, and my friend kinda wants his 660 ti back. Plus i want something a lil better than a 660 ti

So you guys think my cpu can handle one of the cards i mentioned?
Or do i have to upgrade my cpu first?

oke awesome, yeah my mobo and power supply should be compatible.
got an ASRock Fatal1ty Z77 Professional with 2 x PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, and a 550 watt supply.

i'll probably be getting the Gigabyte GTX 1060 6gb then, thanks for your response!
