I am running Windows 8 (8.1 I think) on my HP. I have uninstalled Skype and used the Skype Removal Tool 2.0 to uninstall most of Skype. I was able to then delete the fragments left, but I cannot get rid of the Skype executable located at this path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe
I tried running the CMD prompt as an admin but couldn't seem to type in the command correctly using these instructions here: http://www.technorms.com/9240/delete-undeletable-files-easy but I couldn't get it to work.
Please refer me to a virus free program that can do this for me, or send very detailed, specific steps on how to proceed. I am a Novice at stuff like this. Thanks.
