I hope this is the right place to ask. I bought a ps3 super slim 500gb off amazon and it worked fine yesterday and today for a few hours then suddenly shut down. The problem is that when I press the power button the ps3 beeps once, the red light turns green for 1 second then no light. The red light will only appear aagain when I unplug and plug the ac cable in an outlet. When I try to turn it on from the dualshock nothing happens, only the 4 lights are continuously blinking for a while. I spent a lot of time looking for a solution to the problem but I didn't seem to find any answer. I know this system came out almost a decade ago but it would be my first ps3 so can someone suggest some solution? Im already waiting to return the console back because I'm leaving the states in approximately two weeks and I bought it from here because its cheaper than in europe. Should I cancel and try some kind of fix or should I just buy a new one and hope for the best.
