I upgraded from a 390, then got a 390x. I saw that Fry's was having a sale on the ASUS STRIX GTX 1070 for 419. I went to the store and they had a open box for 398. Bought that and exchanged the 390x for 320 $ store credit.
Nobody understands why I paid that much for a GPU. I just tell them its " future proofing". ha. Only thing Im not liking is the cost of G Synch monitors. Hopefully they'll come down soon! At least for 2k 1440p.
