This is my system:
Motherboard Asus Z97-A
CPU i7 4770K 3.50 GHz
Memory 32 Gb (4x8) DDR3
Video card the new EVGA GEForce GTX 1070
Power Supply 750 Watts
Window 7 Professional 64 bits

1.- My computer was working fine until July 28, 2016. I used to burn movies and it used to do it without a hiccup. To take advantage of the free upgrade to Windows 10 I made the change that day. Apparently everything was fine until I tried to burn a DVD from material I had in my hard disks.
I had 16 Gb of memory (2x8) DDR3. Whenever I tried to burn a DVD it crashed with BSOD. I was using ConvertXtoDVD.
2.- Then I decided to try with DVDFab, another program to burn DVDs. But it also kept on crashing every instance I tried, the same with ConvertXtoDVD. Then I tried to convert several video files from one format to another using Wondershare Video Converter and it crashed. I tried several times and it crashed every time.
After dealing with Microsoft technician for more than ten hours in total in different occasions I decided to go back to Windows 7 Professional, the one I had used for years without any problem.
3.- I spent one week re installing everything like I had it before. The result? It kept crashing the same when I had Win 10.
4.- Then I bought 32 Gb of memory DDR3. It kept on crashing BSOD.
5.- Then I purchased the new video card EVGA GEForce GTX 1070. The result? It kept on crashing. Between the memory and the video card I’ve spent $625 and my computer still crashes in the situations of processing videos. I don’t know about computers in depth. I have been able to assemble my systems for many years but I don’t know how to solve this problem of crashing BSOD. Everything began after I made the upgrade to Win 10.
I have never had any overheating problem. My desktop case is big and very well ventilated. I never have temperatures higher than 36.
I also got my drivers up-to-date.
Now I hate Win 10! I NEED HELP. I don’t use my computer for gaming or wasting time in social networks or stuff like that. I use it for making a living out of it. :(
