Different timings, same overclock

Hello,

I recently got 4GB extra from a friend of mine and now I have 12GB total.

My layout is this
L L - C

L = Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP 4GB
C = Crucial ram, CL9 1600MHz 1.5V

Timing pairs:
A A B B

In my bios I can select timings for the first two slots and the last two slots, which is nice.

I've overclocked my LP to 2133MHz at 1.56v, timings: 10-9-10-24 and the other module has timings 10-12-10-28 now at the same speed (I can not do alternative voltage and speed per slot/pair).

Now is my question, will the LP automatically bump up to the timings of the other ram stick when needed, or how does this work?
Should I leave it as it is or bump up the timings of my LP to match the other stick?

First and foremost, remove the 4GB stick of ram to have your initial kit running as is. Mixing an matching rams are the bane of all stability issues. Second, can you please state the SKU for the Crucial ram's? On that note, can you please pass on your full system's specs?

The rams will all run at the lowest speed to maintain stability. It doesn't work the other way round. In any case if you remove the lone 4GB stick of ram you'll be able to maintain your initial 2133MHz overclock.

I've managed to get it running stable at 2GHz, 1.54V and timings 9-9-10-24 on the ballistix and 10-12-10-24 I believe at the other crucial stick. Works fine, no in game jitter/lag and no crashes.
