I have always wanted to get into Arma 3 exile multiplayer etc and i bought the game, after I recently built my rig...but i am getting shocking fps i know it is a badly optimized game but I see streamers and youtubers running perfectly smooth..so im wondering what am i doing wrong? I get 20-30fps on most servers and never go above 40-50fps outside of main cities...It is the same on low and ultra settings.
My rig:
i5-4690k (not overclocked)
R9 290 8GB
12 GB Ram
Win 7 64-bit
I thought this rig is pretty decent so i should run arma 3 smooth right? My fps is all over the place and when i zoom in it freezes a lot, completely unplayable.
If i upgrade to a new mobo and i5-6600k will this stop? Cheers
