Current own a 290 Want to upgrade with a budget of £300-£350

currently own a 290 which is terrible at overclocking so i have to stick to stock clocks :( i want to upgrade no the best budget but i need something that will be an improvement to my system

cpu: fx 8350
mobo: gigabyte 990x gaming
gc: xfx r9 290-water cooled
ram: 8gb corsair vengance
corsair 250gb ssd
1tb hdd

What display/s are you using?
Within budget: GTRX1060, an excellent card for 1080 gaming and under £300.
A little over £350: GTX1070, but only consider it if you have either a very fast 1080 monitor (120Hz or over) or a 1440 one. Note, the FX8350 will hold back a GTX1070 somewhat.
