Currently reaching really high temperatures with the stock cooler that came with it, i'm also running a motherboard that is named ASUSTeK K30BF_M32BF_A_F_K31BF.

I want a cooler that does it's job so i don't need to hear a screaming fan inside the case, lol. Not looking to spend over 50 bucks for one though.

The EVO is a good value for overclocking but I actually prefer Intel's stock cooler for non-K chips - I have a 212 EVO sitting unused in a box right now, and an Intel stock cooler in my wife's PC.

The fan on any inexpensive cooler will likely be whiney at low RPM because they're not going to stick an expensive fan on a cheap cooler. The Intel stock cooler comes with an excellent fan and will be quieter for the vast majority of the time you use your computer. The i5 produces far less heat than your current AMD CPU, making a big cooler largely unnecessary under loads.

That said, an EVO is not such an expensive item as to be upsetting to buy for what will probably be only temporary use. You can always keep it with the APU, which you'll...
Just my 2 cents, but I wouldn't dump a bunch of money into a CPU that's relatively slow and will need replacement relatively soon to be useful in modern games. It makes more sense to get a $20 cooler and sock the rest away toward a platform upgrade, than to spend $50 on a cooler.

I took the pc from my brother when he built another one. Im soon getting a i5-6500 and could use a good cooler to it, meanwhile i could use it in my current, i looked at The hyper 212 evo cooler. Would it be a good choice to use it now and use it when i upgrade?
