Hello, i recently purchased this cooler, and now i am in the stage to install on my motherboard (socket 1150). I want to know if this cooler is compatible with my motherboard which like i said is on socket 1150.

To be honest i bought this cooler for my old platform which was on socket 1156, but i recently upgraded my PC so i think that is time to install a new CPU cooler, in present i use intel stock cooler and the temperatures are fine, but in the future i want to play some games and i don't know if the stock cooler is build for this.

I read on the Zalman site that this cooler is compatible with socket 1150, but i saw that cooler have another installation accesories that differs from mine. I will try to attach some pictures, to show you what i want to say.

The cooler from ZALMAN site have this accesories for installation:

and the cooler that i bought have this accesories for installation:

PS: Until now i had only coolers that use for installation on my motherboard push-pin, so the installation was easy.

This cooler is the first that for the installation i must used screws, so my other question is: These kinds of coolers have some protection that assure a safe installation, i refer not to tight too much the screws and to damage my CPU or my motherboard. Thanks in advance.

Since you're on Haswell architecture, you're going to be fine using the older mounting hardware on the 1150 platform. If you were on Skylake, then you'd have needed to buy a new cooler or at least contact the manufacturer for mounting hardware compatible with Skylake meant for your cooler. The latter's reason is because the Sklyake architecture of chips produced ended up with a thinner PCB thus any undue pressure from older mounts made the CPU's PCB buckle and crack at the edges. Most of the aftermarket CPU cooler manufacturers scrambled to find a solution and offered add-on mounting kits to ensure full compatibility of older coolers on the new platform.

In all of what you said above, you forgot to mention your full system's specs.
