This just started happening recently. I use TP-Link Nano USB Adapter Model TL-WN725N and Ive had it since January with no problems. The Problem started a week ago, just a day after I connected new 500gb hard drive. I have noticed that the adapter would stay connected to the router but wouldn't receive internet. It knows to happen randomly but also it happens when some other USB device is connected to the ports next to it. Restarting the PC would fix the problem until the next time it happened. Today something new happened. When I was Playing GTA Online, I heard the Windows notification of an USB device being disconnected, so i got disconnected from the game and when i checked in the device manager i saw that the device was not plugged in. Restarting the PC didn't fix the problem this time, i had to change the usb port of the adapter and then restart the PC. Its getting really annoying and i would like to get this fixed. Maybe the new hard disk is causing this but i dont know how.

First of all, I do not recommend TP-Link products. There's not very high quality, just enough to get by in most cases.

I would recommend that you check out this page here. The filters on the left regarding house size actually are for the range of the product. Ones under the Large Homes filter will have a longer range, but be slightly more expensive. In contrast, products under the Small to Medium Homes filter will have a much smaller range but will be less pricey.
