Keyboard key not working sometimes, then it does

My razer blackwidow ultimate, the r key is spotty. It doesn't work until I unplug my keyboard and plug it back in. Then it works for a little bit, then it stops. Is my keyboard bad or is it like a drive issue? FYI, to type the r's, I used on sceen keyboard.

1| In order for us to pin point a culprit, we'll need to know the suspects. Please pass on your full system's specs inclusive of your OS.
2| Have you made sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date?
3| Have you also made sure your motherboard drivers(for the USB ports) are up to date?
4| It'd offer some insight as to how you have connected the USB devices to the ports on your system.
