Hi everyone, new to the forum and hoping someone can help. Have been searching everywhere to no avail.

Just bought an Alienware Aurora R5 and decided to hook up my CA 5001 5.1 speakers to it. As you probably already know, the center speaker and subwoofer share the same jack.

When I go to set my sound as 5.1 through "Alienware Sound" (Can't find Realtek manager anywhere on this PC), all of the speakers work perfectly (Front Left, Front Right, Back Left, Back Right, center).

There's only one problem, when it's time for the "Subwoofer" to play a sound, it comes out my Center speaker instead. In fact, I've played a few games and the Subwoofer makes no sounds at all. There's no "Bass" coming out of it. Wondering if anyone can help?

Thanks.

Solution
Maybe it's time to download latest drivers from Realtek, assuming it has Realteck CODEC chip. Realtek HD audio should be in Control panel. It has feature to swap speakers on Center > Woofer jack.
